Working with Neil Gaiman
With A Calendar of Tales, Neil and his fans have taken a journey through time, battled tentacle-waving monsters, traversed the mean streets of the city and the darkness waiting behind attic doors.
Neil says good fiction unites us, and this project is no exception. The number of people who came together to share their thoughts and talent was simply staggering. In no time at all, we had thousands upon thousands of Tweets, twelve brand new Neil Gaiman stories
(read them here) and a mountain of beautiful illustrations, not to mention videos.
Choosing those few contributions to go in the digital book was no mean feat. All those featured had something special that stuck in the mind or triggered genuine emotion. But every single contribution Neil received is an essential part of the art that was created: madcap ideas and visions, rolled up together into an incredible mix of words and imagery.
